Short: Development Files for a GTA game
Author: Lee Hesselden <wrecker98@geocities.com>
Uploader: Lee Hesselden <wrecker98@geocities.com>
Type: dev/misc
This archive contains two files ANYONE can use in a GTA clone. The two
files are:
car-template.iff 8344 bytes
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This is a template for if you want to make your own cars. It is on a
low-res screen. I found that when I put my example car in an animation,
the car had moved quite a bit. If you use a circle (on the picture - the
same size as the low-res ecquivalent of the original GTA) then the car
stays in the same place. Once the animation is complete the car will be
in the same place throughout, and all you need to do is change the
circle for a square, so that it is easy to make bobs/sprites from the
animation.
car-blue.anim 30642 bytes
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This is my example car, it consists of 36 frames at 10 degree intervals,
the car looks like it is turning on a turn table, with a box around it.
If you like you could use my image in your own GTA game, or just use it
as an example for the above. The animation is low-res.
